Ah, summer: the days get longer and the dresses get shorter. My personal favorite part of the shift into the warmer season (besides a great excuse to buy ice cream!) is getting to utilize an entirely new portion of my wardrobe reserved for summer garments.
This yellow floral dress caught my eye at Madewell, so I knew it would be perfect for lazy brunches and afternoons with friends.
Accessory-wise, I added these Anthropologie sunglasses because they add a little trendy contrast to the dress’s classic floral print. I threw on Converse for the same reason, in addition to the fact that they make my legs look a little tanner. 😉
I got lucky when Ellie handed down this fuschia Fossil purse to me, as it perfectly complements the colors of the dress.
