Ahh, Zermatt. We were not disappointed by the town cradled under the base of Switzerland’s jewel, the Matterhorn. For our last day in the village, we took to the streets for a photoshoot. For dinner, we whipped out some looks inspired by the colors of the red flower boxes all over ‘Matt (we’re on a nickname basis with the town now).
Because we were graced with a warm afternoon, I (Annabelle) wore my new Madewell tank top with an airy skirt. Total flamenco vibes. I layered an Abercrombie – yes, Abercrombie – denim jacket over that for when cooler breezes hit. For a little bling blang, I donned my weekend necklace set and sunglasses.
Ellie here! This is one of my favorite out-to-dinner outfits, and I thought the Swiss dot fabric of my shirt was rather appropriate for this vacation. This top is so European feeling to me, I couldn’t resist pairing it with cute black and white gingham. I noticed later that Annabelle and I both wore wrap skirts. This actually works perfectly, because what’s more fun than #twinning? I love the little pop of red from my crocheted earrings, but would have ideally added another red accessory ( if only I had been a more efficient packer!).
On our walk back from lunch today, we stumbled upon Zermatt’s old town street, a strip of the old buildings of the town. We couldn’t resist copping a pic in the charming little area, so we stopped by again in the afternoon.
